1. DBSync announced the Global Partnership Program:
DBSync launched two partnership program to reach out to customers and prospects through a larger network. Direct Reseller program and Referral program were launched to identify potential business networks through which DBSync can be made available to a much larger audience and drive higher revenues for both DBSync and the partners. 2. DBSync Released Cloud Data Warehousing and Archiving for Apache Cassandra, a Big Data Database :
When companies are rapidly storing structured and unstructured data as traditional relational databases are facing challenges to efficiently capture all of the elements and attributes, BigTable like Cassandra filled this gap. With this release , DBSync provided Enterprises the opportunity to adopt best of cloud applications like Salesforce, and leverage BigData to store and discover knowledge. With Salesforce data fed into a BigTable, customers can not only archive large data sets but also discover and datamine knowledge from sales, marketing and support. Introduction of this capability took DBSync to a different league in the industry by portraying the vision that DBSync has.
3. DBSync made its solution available in the Oracle Cloud Marketplace:
DBSync’s participation in the Oracle Cloud Marketplace further extended the reach into the Oracle community and enabled customers to easily reap the benefits of DBSync.DBSync,a Gold-level member of Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN) started helping customers jump start their integration projects in the Oracle Cloud ecosystem.
4. DBSync launched the new version of Cloud Replication 3.0 for Backup and Data Warehousing:
DBSync launched Cloud Replication 3.0 which is a a simple to use and cost effective on-demand replication and data archiving product. Data Replication had become increasingly more important to businesses either for building in-house reporting and data warehousing or mitigating the risk of potential interruption of service and to maintain business continuity. Implementing a strategic backup, data warehousing and disaster recovery plan, in the event of a natural disaster, had always been a priority at an enterprise level. This version of Cloud Replication filled the gap of such a requirement for many organizations.
5. DBSync participated in Dreamforce 2013 as a sponsor:
DBSync participated in Dreamforce 2013 which is the largest cloud computing event in the world as a sponsor at the Moscone Center in San Fransisco. This had been a proud moment for the entire team of DBSync when the DBSync logo appeared on the big screen at the prestigious venue with more than 100 thousand visitors around.
6. Major client acquisitions in 2013:
DBSync added a few big names in the list of clients it enjoys in 2013 through its Cloud Replication offering. There were a few very big client acquisitions in 2013 in the cloud replication space. These accounts are not only big in billing value but also contributed a lot in the brand empowerment of DBSync.
