Azure offers four replication options: LRS (Locally Redundant Storage), ZRS (Zone-Redundant Storage), GRS (Geo-Redundant Storage), and RA-GRS (Read-Access Geo-Redundant Storage).
Azure Site Recovery (ASR) performs block-level replication to ensure real-time disaster recovery for virtual machines.
The default replication scheme for Azure storage accounts is Locally Redundant Storage (LRS), which replicates data within a single data center.
Geo-replication in Azure replicates data to a secondary region, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery for critical applications.
